While we at Home Instead are always focused on the health and wellbeing of our clients, today we joined offices around the country to turn our attention to our staff, as part of National Workplace Wellbeing Day 2019.
We celebrated the day with a lovely green lunch, prepared by a local salad house, where the queues were out the door. Clearly, we weren’t the only company in Sandyford who had health on our minds today!
After that we headed down to Dún Laoghaire Pier, to take part in the Lunchtime Mile, where we enjoyed a head-clearing stroll in the sea breeze and a friendly team chat.
Back at the office, we took out the paints, canvases and scented candles for a stimulating and mindful painting session, where we painted pictures (of varying quality!) of our lovely emblem, the tulip.
The Ibec-led initiative is an annual event aimed at promoting wellbeing in the workplace. Lots of our offices around the country have been participating in local events.
It’s really important to look after yourself as an individual and support those you work with to do the same!
