Home Instead Ballsbridge launches new Care Lab to help CAREGivers upskill
As part of its ongoing efforts to provide extra training opportunities for CAREGivers, Home Instead Ballsbridge has launched a new Care Lab at its office on Merrion Road.
“This initiative is designed to help our CAREGivers upskill and gain more confidence in working with clients with higher needs, as their career progresses with us,” says Michael McElligott, General Manager at Home Instead Ballsbridge.
The Care Lab has a range of new equipment such as: hospital bed, full hoist, training model, wheelchair, and it allows CAREGivers to practice tasks and learn key skills in a stress-free environment.
It’s a valuable addition to the weekly training programme at Home Instead Ballsbridge and ensures that CAREGivers can develop the skills they need to work with a larger client base, while progressing their own career.
