Home Instead Leopardstown Partner with DLR Older Persons Service Providers Forum

Jul 05, 2017

Home Instead Senior Care Leopardstown are delighted through our association to DLR Older Persons Service Providers Forum to distribute a copy of the Directory of Activities and Services for Older People in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County to our 500 clients over the coming months.

The directory was developed by DLR Older Person Service Providers Forum, a sub structure of the healthy County Forum, to address a need identified by older people – an absence of information on services and activities in a format which they find accessible. The Directory contains information on activities, clubs and services relevant to older people and has been updated to reflect changes since first published. “This is an excellent resource directory for older people in our community.  It is we believe aligned with our shared vision to enhance the lives of older people and their families supporting them to have an increased awareness of activities within their own community.  We hope it will assist our Clients to access activities and services in their local area” said David Healy, Managing Director of Home Instead Senior Care Leopardstown.

An Cathaoirleach, Cllr. Tom Murphy, launched Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown’s latest age-friendly initiatives at County Hall on Tuesday 27th June 2017 – the Petal Project and the Directory of Activities and Services for Older People in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County.
