Home Instead Senior Care Celebrates Launch of New Office in Thurles

New Office Helping Older People in Tipperary Live at Home for Longer

Having provided senior home care in Tipperary since December 2008 Michael Wright officially launched his new Home Instead Senior Care office on Liberty Square in the heart  of Thurles on Wednesday 29th July.    

Although caring across the county for seven years Michael felt the time was right to 
move to a larger more central premises to house his growing office and home care team;We care for 188 clients and employ over 150 people and with changing demographics we needed a larger office in order to meet the demand for care."

“It is great to have Clanwilliam, Munster and Ireland Rugby star Tommy O’Donnell,  Minister of State, Tom Hayes TD and local priest  Fr. Martin Hayes plus many local faces on hand to celebrate the launch of our new office where I feel really welcomed by the Tipperary  business community”.

Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries, Mr. Tom Hayes TD was on hand to cut the ribbon, and Fr. Martin Hayes gave a lovely blessing, dedicated to those caring for people in our community.  Tommy O’Donnell was a popular guest on the evening, alongside the Rugby 6 Nations Trophy.  Tommy signed autographs,chatted with the local Home Instead CAREGiver team, friends, families and community representatives.  

Tom Hayes,  TD spoke about his appreciation for a quality home care service in the local community.  Hayes said:

 “It’s clear to me that home care helps older adults live happily in their own homes where family members will feel at ease knowing a caring and capable home care service is being provided. I have no doubt Michael and his team will be a success”.
