To celebrate the start of its 90^th Anniversary Year the Regent Bridge Club in Dublin 4 hosted a Celebratory Bridge Congress sponsored by Home Instead Senior Care.

The Congress took place from 1^st – 4^th January and attracted over 450 players from regions throughout the country and was officially opened by Rory Egan, President, Dublin South Region and Grainne Dunne, President Region Bridge.

Play commenced on New Year’s Day and  attracted an entry of 24 teams and was won by the International Team of Teresa Rigney, Jill Kulchycky, Joan Kenny and Diane Greenwood with a super score of 103.36 points.

Play then moved to Friday 2^nd January and was opened by Fearghal O’Boyle, President, CBAI.

Prize giving took place on the Saturday night at the Regent Bridge Club with 120 people in attendance.
