HOME INSTEAD SENIOR CARE CELEBRATES ONE YEAR OF BUSINESS IN KILKENNY

Jan 15, 2015

GROWING BUSINESS PROVIDERS JOBS BOOST IN LOCAL COMMUNITY

To celebrate its first year in business, Home Instead Senior Care, which provides care at home to older people in Kilkenny and Carlow, organised its '1st Birthday Open Morning' last month. Clients and their families, and Caregivers were all invited to the local event.

The birthday celebration provided an opportunity to bring together people in the local community, especially older people, and include them in the festivities. Attendees also had the chance to get to know Home Instead caregivers and learn of the hard work they do in the local community.

Enda Bohan, Owner and Managing Director of Home Instead Senior Care congratulated the local team on reaching their first birthday and discussed the personalised approach which Home Instead takes to caring for people at home. “Our first birthday is a special occasion for older people, families and caregivers in the local community. The service has enabled older people to stay at home, supports family carers and has provided jobs for professional caregivers. In particular, I would like to thank our caregivers for providing such a quality service to older people and their families”.

Since setting up in Kilkenny a year ago, demand for the home care service has increased and the home care provider is expanding its current team of caregivers. “Local people are encouraged to contact our office in Kilkenny and learn more about a rewarding career in caregiving – it is a job for a special person looking to make a difference in the life of an older person”.

Further information on becoming a caregiver is available on www.HomeInstead.ie or calling 056 7800 508.
