Home Instead Senior Care Sets Up 20th Office in Clare, Helping Older People Live at Home for Longer

Having provided senior home care in both Clare and Limerick since 2008 Clare native Liam Toland will formally open his Home Instead office in Clare this week. Although caring in Clare from Ballyvaughan to Bridgetown for six years Liam felt the time was right to create a physical foothold in Clare with its own independent office and care team; “We’ve been hugely encouraged here in Clare by winning the FBD ‘Clare Professional Services Excellence Award 2012’ and especially with our continued relationship with the HSE as an ‘HSE Approved Provider for Enhanced Homecare Packages. (Services for Older Persons)’”

"Our mission to ‘Enhance the lives of Older Adults and their families’ energises us daily and we are thrilled to continue offering quality person centred home care that has such a positive impact on families around Clare. Our team, drawn from the community, are passionate about caring for older adults and know the area well with Brenda our nurse from Ennis and Aodhnaid our Care Manager from Newmarket-on-Fergus. We look forward building our team and boosting jobs drawn from the local community while caring for vulnerable older adults”

“It is great to have rugby Legend Anthony Foley plus many local faces on hand to celebrate the launch of our new office where I feel really welcomed by the Clare business community”.

The guest of honour, Munster Rugby Coach, Anthony Foley spoke about his appreciation for a quality home care service in the local community. Foley said:

“I’m from Clare so I have a vested interest in the provision of home care services to older adults in our locality. Watching some of my family members and relations grow older, it’s obvious to me the importance of staying at home, in the community”.

“It’s clear to me that home care helps older adults live happily in their own homes where family members will feel at ease knowing a caring and capable home care service is being provided. I have no doubt Liam and his team will be a success”.
