The Irish Institute of Training and Development awarded the prize in the small enterprise category to Age Action 'Getting Started' computer training programme for older people. The award was given for excellence in training.
Congratulations to the work of Pauline from Age Action and the staff from Home Instead Senior Care
who dedicated their time to help train the older people new IT skills.
Of course, the ultimate winners are the older people who are learning new IT skills. Their lives are being transformed by being able for the first time to do things online that many people take for granted.
If you know an older person who would like to learn how to use a computer, contact Pauline and her team to find out the location of your nearest Getting Started class. You can email the team at email@example.com
