Celebrating active and healthy ageing in partnership with Active Retirement Ireland

Please join us and celebrate the Marigold Festival series hosted throughout the country this summer. The country-wide event will share the latest insights on how to live a healthy and active life no matter what age you are. This is the fourth annual Marigold Festival series hosted by Home Instead Senior Care in partnership with Active Retirement Ireland.

Musicians Tommy and Jimmy Swarbrigg, former representatives for Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest and ambassadors for this year’s Marigold Festival series, said: “These event provide a platform for people to show that getting older can be a very positive time of your life. Whatever your interests might be; be it taking up a new past time or sporting activity, to spending more time with friends and loved ones, these events help to show older people the many benefits of staying active, both in mind and body”.

Ed Murphy, CEO and Founder of Home Instead Senior Care Ireland said: ““We are delighted to again sponsor the Active Retirement Ireland Marigold Festival series, for the fourth time this year. We truly value the relationship with Active Retirement Ireland and its members; and events of this kind, which celebrate healthy and active ageing through sports, social and professional activities, offer a wonderful opportunity to showcase older people taking a positive approach to ageing, an attitude thoroughly supported by Home Instead Senior Care.”
