Dermot grew up in Kilkenny before going to college in Bolton Street in Dublin where he completed his engineering studies. On leaving college Dermot worked for NEC Semiconductors in Meath. After a spell in Australia Dermot returned to Ireland and worked with Guinness on engineering projects all over Ireland. In 1996 Dermot and his wife, Charlotte Reilly, set up their own very successful Snap Printing franchise. Dermot has also served in a non executive capacity for a number of companies and most recently ran the Snap franchise operation in Ireland. Charlotte had set up her own Home Instead franchise in 2013 and in February 2017 Dermot followed Charlotte’s lead and set up the Home Instead Louth/Monaghan franchise.
As owner of Home Instead Senior Care in Louth and Monaghan, Dermot is responsible for ensuring the needs of clients and their families are met. With many years commercial and business experience, including in the home care sector, Dermot is delighted to meet families to discuss how Home Instead services can make a difference in their lives.
Allison is responsible for the recruitment and training of Home Instead professional CAREGivers. She engages with the CAREGiver team and oversees the smooth running of the office. Allison has a wealth of experience in working with large teams and providing professional client support.
