Oct 19, 2017
The CEO of Home Instead Senior Care in Ireland, Ed Murphy, will speak at the inaugural Healthcare Assistants & Carers Conference which takes place on 23rd November in the Green Isle Hotel, Dublin.
"As Ireland's leading home care provider, we have a vested interest in the learning and development needs of all carers, not just Home Instead Senior Care carers. Attending conferences like the HCA event is a sign of the commitment and professionalism of the many carers throughout the country. I will be sharing some industry insights alongside Minister for Older People, Jim Daly TD. There will be a focus of the changing landscape of home care in Ireland and will be of interest to all those working in the home care sector".
The conference, the first of its kind in Ireland, is aimed at those who work in a healthcare setting or would like to, and unpaid family carers.
According to the HCA website, the Conference will be a chance to:
- Meet carers and other Healthcare professionals.
- Meet and hear from experts in the field.
- Explore common issues such as: Who is the HCA/Carer today; Current & future roles of the HCA/Carer; Legalities of the role; Qualifications, training & further development
It is a chance to meet potential employers in the area and an opportunity for healthcare entrepreneurs and organisations to showcase their talents.
