"My family and I were at the end of our tether trying to cope with Mum’s Alzheimer’s Disease when we were recommended by the hospital to get help from Home Instead Senior Care. The hospital told us that their CAREGivers were specially trained in dealing with Alzheimer’s.

It was fantastic to see how the Home Instead CAREGiver and their nurse dealt with Mum. They treated her with courtesy, dignity and respect and focused on what she could do rather than what she couldn’t. Seeing how they cared for Mum taught us how to have a positive relationship with her and to remember that Mum’s behaviour was a symptom of the disease and could not be helped.

The gentle reassurance and genuine care Mum received gave our family great comfort and the knowledge that we did the right thing in keeping her at home until her sad passing. This would not have been possible without the help of Home Instead Senior Care - for that we will be grateful forever.".
