Competition - Positive Ageing
17/07/2009 00:00:00
Home Instead Senior Care have changed the face of ageing by helping thousands of people to stay at home instead of having to move to institutional care. We want to help change people's view of ageing to a more positive one. We help with advice and information and now we would like to publish your 'positive ageing' stories in our newsletters.
Ideas for stories include - maybe you have a very interesting hobbie that you have kept up or maybe you reached a significant goal or maybe you are totally upbeat and remain positive in times of hardship for example. We are interested in hearing any story that highlights positive ageing and would have an effect on changing the face of ageing in our community.
The entry can come directly from the person or you can submit an entry on behalf of a relative, parent etc. So you might want to nominate your Mum, Auntie, Uncle or anyone else that might be relevant. If they win the prize, maybe they can share it with you. You can also include photos if you like to go along with the story.
All you need to do is send us your 'Positive Ageing' story in 200 words or less. You will then be entered into a free draw for a 2 night stay including breakfast in a two bedroom suite (sleeps family of 6) at the luxurious Maritime Hotel, The Quay, Bantry, West Cork. www.themaritime.ie (Terms & Conditions apply. Subject to Availability)
Entries must be submitted by the 16th of August 2009. You can send your entry of 200 words or less by email to info@homeinstead.ie or post to Home Instead Senior Care, 305 Q House, Sandyford Business Park, Dublin 18 or fax your entry to 01 2973499.
