HOMELink provides a free telephone support line for seniors. They also offer assistance to seniors to source a wide range of services including: supply and installation of safety security measures and devices; provision of basic maintenance for house and garden; and development of a database of reliable trades people for extensive home repair and landscaping services. The HSE has developed an elder abuse service in order to help prevent and combat elder abuse in all its forms. There are now specialist staff, employed by the HSE through the Local Health Offices, dealing with cases of elder abuse. Irish Senior Citizens Parliament is a non-party political non-sectarian and non-profit making lobby organisation concerned with promoting the interests of retired and older people. They identify the issues of concern to older people and then bring these issues to the attention of Government and other agencies dealing with these issues. Senior Helpline is a voluntary helpline for older people run by older volunteers. The lines are open each day from 10 am - 4pm and each evening from 7pm - 10pm, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Please contact the Senior Helpline on 1850 440 444.

Carers Association is the national voluntary organisation of family carers in the home. GetMomMoving.com is a new website launched by Home Instead Senior Care to help seniors stay active and independent. The website offers free activity cards with exercises for the mind, body and soul. The idea behind the new online tool is to keep seniors' bodies and minds strong so they stay active and live independently in their own home for as long as possible.
