Good morning,

I hope you are all doing well this Monday morning. I spent a bit more time than usual with Mrs Murphy last week, it seems her memory hasn’t been great lately. In the last week I couldn’t tell you how many times she has left the tap running. It is nothing compared to Jimmy’s Alzheimer’s though. It’s just sad to see how a dementia can affect a person. Mrs Murphy is a pleasure though, she always take her medication and is very cooperative. I think I’ve only had to ask her once to take her medication and she did so quite willingly. She is great for conversation as well – today she was all questions about my new puppy Holly. I brought along a few pictures and then went down a treat, she just loved them. It’s amazing how much joy a little puppy can bring to someone. Apparently she had the same type of dog, a West Highland Terrier, when she was a little girl so Holly brought back lovely memories.
