Palliative Care

Palliative Care is an approach that focuses on a person's physical, psychological and spiritual needs to improve his or her quality of life during illness.  It also supports the person's family members during and after the illness.

Home Instead CAREGivers can supplement the care provided by your hospice or palliative care team by providing emotional support, companionship, housekeeping, personal care, assistance with day to day activates, advocacy, and respite to family caregivers.

Home Instead CAREGivers receive special education on the hospice philosophy and providing this specialised type of care.
